Guidelines for Online Application

DISCLAIMER:A Pop-up window should appear on the screen when the candidates click on “Fill Application Form” and they should be able to proceed to fill up the form only when they agreed for “I have read and understood for compliance” as mentioned below.

THE DATA ENTERED DURING REGISTRATION WILL BE FINAL AND NO CHANGE WILL BE PERMITTED.
ENTRY OF WRONG DATA WILL DISQUALIFY CANDIDATURE.

Important Instructions for Candidate

NOTE: The Selection Test for Agniveervayu is only for unmarried MALE and FEMALE citizens of India.
  1. Candidate must have valid E-mail ID and Mobile Number for successful online registration.

  2. Candidate should mandatorily have Aadhaar Card Number (optional for candidates belonging to J&K, Ladakh, Assam & Meghalaya).

  3. Candidates need to carry their Aadhaar Card, when called for examination. Candidates from J&K, Ladakh, Assam & Meghalaya need to carry a valid photo identity proof, if not having Aadhaar Card.

  4. Examination fee of Rs.649/-(Including GST) is to be paid online by the candidate while registering for the online examination. The payment can be made by Debit Card / Credit Card / Internet Banking / UPI through payment gateway. Candidates are advised to follow the instructions / steps given on the payment gateway, and also print / keep the transaction details for their records.

  5. Refund of Multiple Payments:- If multiple payments are received from a candidate against single application, then that will be refunded back to the originating account after closing of registration and re-conciliation of all payment records. However if candidate is found to have filled multiple applications, only one application will be accepted and the amount with respect to other applications not considered for recruitment process will not be refunded.

  6. Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances and shall not be kept in reserve for any other examination or selection

  7. The following documents to be uploaded by candidates while filling up of online registration form:-
    1. DOB / NAME / FATHER’S NAME / MOTHER’S NAME PROOF AS APPLICABLE:- Class 10th/ Matriculation passing certificate.

    2. IF APPLYING FOR SCIENCE SUBJECTS (OR) SCIENCE SUBJECTS & OTHER THAN SCIENCE SUBJECTS:-

      1. Intermediate/10+2 or equivalent with Maths, Physics & English marksheet/marksheets (if applying on the basis of 12th/intermediate or equivalent educational qualifications).

      2. 3 Yrs Engineering Diploma Final Year Marksheet (if applying on the basis of 3 Yrs Engineering Diploma from Central/ State/UT Govt recognised Polytechnic Institute in prescribed stream).

      3. Two years vocational course marksheet with non-vocational subjects viz. Physics and Maths (if applying on the basis of two years vocational course from Education Boards recognized by Central/State/UT Govt). If Maths & Physics marks are not available in vocational course then Intermediate/10+2 marksheet with Maths & Physics marks.

      4. The marksheet indicating marks in English subject (if applying on the basis of 3 Yrs Engineering Diploma qualification or 2 Yrs vocational course) in diploma/vocational course (or) 12th/10th if English is not a subject in diploma /vocational course.

    3. IF APPLYING FOR OTHER THAN SCIENCE SUBJECTS:-

      1. Intermediate/10+2 or equivalent marksheet/marksheets in any stream / subjects from Education Boards recognized by Central/State/UT Govt (if applying on the basis of 12th/intermediate or equivalent educational qualifications).

      2. Two years vocational course marksheet (if applying on the basis of two years vocational course from Education Boards recognized by Central/State/UT Govt.

      3. The marksheet indicating marks in English subject (if applying on the basis of 3 Yrs Engineering Diploma qualification or 2 Yrs vocational course) in diploma/vocational course (or) 12th/10th if English is not a subject in diploma / vocational course.

      Note: Candidate eligible for Science Subjects examination (Including Intermediate/10+2/three years diploma course in engineering or two years, vocational course with non-vocational subjects of Physics and Maths) are also eligible for Other than Science Subjects and would be given an option of appearing in both Science Subjects and Other than Science Subjects examination in one sitting while filling up the online registration form.

    4. Passport size colour photograph (front portrait in light background without head gear except for Sikhs) recent (taken not before Three Months from date of filling Registration Form). The photograph is to be taken with candidate holding a black slate in front of his/her chest with his/her Name and Date of Photograph taken, clearly written on it with white chalk in capital letters. Change in appearance like growing beard, head gear etc., in comparison to the photograph may result in cancellation of candidature for STAR Phase-I online examination and STAR Phase-II testing.

    7. Candidate’s parents (Father/Mother/Guardian) signature image (if candidate is below 18 years on the date of filling the online application).

Candidate shall upload, One un-attested recent (taken not before Three Months from date of filling Registration Form) passport size color photograph (front portrait without headgear, expect for Sikhs) is to be uploaded candidate holding black slate in front of his/her chest with his/her name and date of photograph taken, clearly written on it with white chalk in capital letters.
45 Capture Live Image Candidate shall Capture Live Image as per given Guidelines by clicking on Start Camera.
Note:
  1. While capturing photo make sure to give required permissions to the browser.
  2. Make sure the room is properly lit. Be Upright and in frame, also make use of the guider for appropriate head position.

Candidate shall upload self signature image
  1. Candidate puts his/her signature on plain blank paper. This “signed” paper should be properly scanned, appropriately cropped so that candidate signature is clearly visible and then upload.
  2. If the age of Candidate is less than 18 years then candidates shall upload self signature along with parent's signature in specified format and then upload.
47 Upload Left Hand Thumb Impression Image

Format- JPEG/ JPG
Left hand thumb should be inked by placing on stamp pad and then place this inked thumb on plain blank paper. Impression of the thumb on this blank paper should be appropriately cropped so that candidate thumb impression image is clearly visible within the approved size limits and then upload.
City Selection
48 Selection of Examination City for STAR Phase I Candidate shall select and give 5 choices based on the preference for the desired examination city from the drop down list.
ASC Selection
49 Selection of ASC for STAR Phase II

After selecting 5 choices of
“Examination city for STAR phase I” Candidate shall select and give 13 choices for ASC in order of preference for STAR phase II exam from the drop down list.

Drop Down List: 1 ASC, 2 ASC, 3 ASC, 4 ASC, 5 ASC, 7 ASC, 8 ASC, 9 ASC, 10 ASC, 11 ASC, 12 ASC, 14 ASC & 15 ASC.

Note: CASB reserves the right to allot a Centre to candidate which may or may not be as per the choice indicated by candidate.
50 Place Candidate shall enter Place, from where the application is being filled.
Preview & Make Payment
51 Make Payment

Examination fee of Rs.649/-(Including GST) is to be paid online by the candidate while registering for the online examination. The payment can be made by Debit Card / Credit Card / Internet Banking / UPI through payment gateway. Candidates are advised to follow the instructions / steps given on the payment gateway, and also print / keep the transaction details for their records.

Refund of Multiple Payments:- If multiple payments are received from a candidate against single application, then that will be refunded back to the originating account after closing of registration and re-conciliation of all payment records. However if candidate is found to have filled multiple applications, only one application will be accepted and the amount with respect to other applications not considered for recruitment process will not be refunded. Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances and shall not be kept in reserve for any other examination or selection.

Candidate shall make a choice between:-
  1. Pay through Credit/Debit Card(Master/Visa/Maestro), Netbanking: Candidate can pay online using any Credit/Debit Card ( Master/Visa/Maestro), Netbanking.
  2. Pay through Unified Payments Interface(UPI): Candidate can pay online using UPI by entering VPA.

Download and take color Print of Filled Application

Candidates are advised to take color Print of Filled Application Form only after “Payment Successful” status.

On successful payment, Candidate can download and take a color print out.

This color print out of application form will be required to bring at STAR phase II exam, if called upon
53 Space for Signature

This, Space is for Signature in ink at the time of STAR Phase II exam, if called upon.
Signature should be same as "uploaded signature". Candidate shall do the inked signature in presence of the selection staff

54 Space for Photograph Candidate shall paste Passport size Photo used at the time of “uploading photo” same in the space provided in presence of the selection staff, at the time of STAR Phase II exam, if called upon.
55 Download and Print Admit Card- STAR Phase I Candidate shall download and take color print of Admit Card STAR Phase-I, as and when provided by IAF.
56 Download and Print Admit Card- STAR Phase-II Candidate shall download and take color print of Admit Card STAR Phase-II, as and when provided by IAF.
